CE marking

The CE (Conformité Européenne) marking is a "passport" recognized by all the 27 Member States of the European Union, enabling a product to be placed on the market in any Member State.

CE Marking indicates that a product complies with the basic criteria required by a European technical standard called a harmonised European Norm (EN).
These standards have been established to remove technical barriers to trade for construction products. They are the new reference for national standards.

The Construction Products Directive and the more recent Construction Products Regulation set the foundation for CE marking for construction products.
