Rf-Technologies’ fire resistant collars are placed around plastic piping there where these cross a construction element to prevent fire propagation. In case of fire, the heat causes the intumescent material on the inside of the collars to swell, by which the plastic piping is completely squeezed tight.

Rf-Technologies offers collars for plastic piping that can be installed IN or ON the construction element the piping crosses.

They are tested according to EN 1366-3.
